Usually none - It is up to you to check and monitor the bonded and insured status of every home care staff member
3. Quality control & supervision of home care staff

- All home care cases are carefully monitored and supervised by a professional Homewatch Caregiver home care supervisor.
- Random home care caregiver checks are performed to assure service quality.
- Family members are updated regularly on home care services and important home care issues.
- Homewatch CareGivers verifies, updates, and maintains all necessary licenses and certifications for all home care staff.
Individual:
None - Home care staff are completely independent and supervise themselves. You must check and verify who needs what license and if they are in force.

Homewatch CareGivers is responsible for all Taxes - FICA, Federal & State are calculated collected, reported and remitted to the proper tax authorities with no responsibility to our home care clients - Ever!

You are responsible for all calculations collections, reporting, & submission to the individual tax authorities.
6. Thorough criminal background checks on home care caregivers
Homewatch CareGivers:
All Homewatch CareGivers are carefully screened at the time of hire with several layers of background checks.
- Approximately 70% of applicants do not meet our high standards.
- Each home care caregiver is then matched to meet your specific home care needs.
Individual:
Home care staff are not background checked unless you pay for it and do it yourself. A full background check done one at a time can cost as much as $50-$100 for each check.
7. Worker's compensation to cover any home care staff's on-the-job injury.
Homewatch CareGivers:
All Homewatch CareGivers' home care staff are covered by workman's compensation insurance for any accident that can happen anywhere while doing anything for any home care client.
Individual:
Usually none - Private individual can sue you if they are injured on the job.
8. Flexibility of home care services

Your home care services requirements will rarely stay the same. Most people will either have an increase or decrease in their home service requirements.
- With Homewatch CareGivers, you aren't locked into providing a certain number of hours or days.
- If the level of home care skills that you require increases or decreases, we can accommodate that change without the need for you to change providers.
Individual:
Skills are fixed to the particular individual, and you pay for what they can do rather than what home care skills you need. A change in skills necessarily means changing staff.

Neither does the Homewatch CareGiver staff. With Homewatch CareGivers, it is our job to fill those gaps to leave you with worry-free home care staffing.
Individual:
One person = limited days & hours. You are responsible for lining up replacement home care staff for sudden sickness, off hours, for emergency calls, off days, and for vacations. Employment transitions mean that you start all over again.
